Financial Support

All Neuroscience students in good academic standing are provided with full financial support for the entire course of study. Support includes fees, tuition, and a stipend. The baseline stipend for 2008-2009 is set at $27,000.

Residency

United States citizens and Permanent Residents are expected to obtain California Residency within one year (summer following their first year). For information about obtaining residency, see: http://registrar.berkeley.edu/Residency/legalinfo.html

The Neuroscience Program will pay non-resident tuition for citizens and permanents residents only for the first year of graduate study. Students failing to obtain residency will be personally responsible for payment of non-resident tuition.
