Undergrad Anna Jacobowitz investigates effects of psychedelics on the brain

This past summer, UC Berkeley undergraduate Anna Jacobowitz studied sex-specific neural responses to the psychedelic compound psilocybin in the lab of Neuroscience faculty member Daniela Kaufer. Jacobowitz is a senior who has been doing research in the Kaufer lab since her freshman year. Her summer research project was supported by the College of Letters and Science’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF L&S).
