The Neuroscience PhD Program is a "graduate group" within the Neuroscience Department. There is a defined list of faculty from both the Neuroscience Department and the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute (HWNI), representing many different departments across the UC Berkeley campus, that are eligible to serve as rotation and dissertation lab mentors for students in the Neuroscience PhD Program.
